The design of Toolen Hall is a traditional concrete structure with a double loaded corridor containing spacious double rooms and hall bathrooms. TAG’s design team renovated the facility to include a new front entrance to compliment newer buildings on the campus; painting of entire outside of the building; re-glazing of windows; new infrastructure; mechanical, electrical and plumbing as needed; new elevator; new interior paints, flooring and lighting; new furniture and lounges; new bathroom layouts; new exterior gathering spaces; card access system for security; a renovated basement to be used for intercollegiate soccer teams; new landscaping; and three public safety offices.
