Winston E. Arnow United States Courthouse

TAG performed Architectural, Interior Design and Construction Management Services for the Renovation and Restoration of the Historic Winston E. Arnow Federal Building and Courthouse in Pensacola, FL. The project has been designed and executed incrementally over the past eight years, in numerous phases and contracts.
TAG’s scope has included both interior and exterior architectural and MEP repairs and upgrades, as well as ADA Accessibility, Life Safety-Egress and Security issues. These implementations included extensive coordination with security specialists to provide monitoring and control of the entire systems routing through the building as well as other sensitive locations such as all entries, U.S. Marshal’s facilities, and judges’ chambers. TAG also designed custom security screening stations in the front lobby. TAG is currently designing all new site security for the facility, including gates, guardhouse, and planter/bollards.
TAG is providing design and construction administration services for a U.S. Marshal’s sallyport & detention addition, currently under construction. The facility is expected to be occupied in April 2010.
