University of South Alabama Children's and Women's Hospital, Lobby Renovation

The USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital lobby renovation further unifies the undersea and submarine theme created with the “U.S.S. Hope”. Reception areas include swirls of color and watery blue glass to maintain the ocean theme and to make a more appealing entry for patients and visitors. A complete signage package was developed to coordinate with the interior theme.
Display shelving for the gift shop, custom cabinetry for reception and gift shop sales were all designed by TAG. The project was named “Design of the Year” and won First Place in the Health Care Category by the ASID Alabama in 2006. It was completed for $2,000,000.
