USA Children's & Women's Hospital MRI Imaging Center

The MRI Imaging Center further unites the underwater submarine theme at the USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital. A beach theme is used throughout the lobby and waiting areas. Striped carpet and upholstery mimic bright, colorful beach towels scattered in the sand. Shell-like partitions were placed at the registration areas for privacy and to continue the beach theme. Custom lighting is hung throughout the room in the shapes of playful beach balls. In 2008, the project received first place in the Healthcare category from ASID Alabama.
